Confirmed stats
The official New Dungeon screen shows Battle 6, Hunt 10, Occult 8 and Cruelty 8, plus the complete ability list visible in the published build.

Abilities and signals
Not every entry below is a named in-game ability. The status label matters: “Official UI” means the name appears in a published interface screenshot; “Official media” means the behavior is visible in official footage or a screenshot caption; “Named only” means the name is confirmed but its effect is not published.
Corrosive Bite
Official UIListed as the Baleful Eye's basic attack on the New Dungeon screen.
Annihilation Ray
Official UIListed with a 15-second cooldown. Official screenshots show a ray cutting across the throne hall and striking an adventurer.
Corrosive
Official UIListed as an always-on trait. The UI screenshot does not explain what it applies to, how much damage it adds or whether it stacks.
Flight
Official UIListed as an always-on trait. The published screen does not describe height, targeting restrictions or how melee adventurers reach a flying boss.
Petrifying gaze
Official mediaAn official press-kit GIF is captioned “baleful eye petrifying gaze,” but the New Dungeon ability list does not include a separate Petrifying Gaze entry. It may be an upgrade, a visual effect or an ability added after the screen was captured; that is not clarified publicly.
Upgrades
Upgrade tree not published
Eight upgrade icons are visible on the Baleful Eye screen, but no names or effects are shown. Mossbomb has not published the tree.
How to play Baleful Eye
The advice below is editorial. It uses confirmed stats and official visuals, but it is not a recorded playthrough or a tested tier list. Treat it as a planning framework for the current build.
Use the ray's cooldown as a rhythm
A 15-second Annihilation Ray is the only public cooldown number for any boss. That makes the Baleful Eye a boss you position for repeated windows rather than constant contact. Keep it near a long sightline where adventurers bunch up, then let the ray do its work while minions hold the doorway.
Flight is a positioning tool, not a stat
The published UI confirms Flight but not its rules. Do not assume it makes the boss untargetable. The useful planning takeaway is simpler: the Baleful Eye is presented as a floating ranged boss, so giving it open space and a protected perch is more sensible than burying it in a cramped room.
Keep a ground screen
Battle 6 is the lowest published Battle value among the four bosses. Whatever Flight does, the eye looks like a boss that wants other bodies between it and the adventurers. Pair it with minions or traps that can hold a corridor while the ray cycles.
What we still don't know
- What Corrosive actually does in combat.
- All eight upgrade names and effects.
- Whether Petrifying Gaze is a separate ability or a visual effect.
- Whether Flight changes targeting or only movement.
